Literature
this april
The moonlight falls through squinting blinds, bowing softly to hug the arc of his naked body. The blankets are strewn about his toes as a girl, no more than sixteen, lays wide-eyed and warm-bodied beside him.
She silently watches the dreams come and go beneath his eyelids, she quietly feels his chest rise, rise then fall and she listens to the heavy breathing that accompanies it. Beautiful breathing, she thinks, tracing generous lips with fingertips.
The air is cool but she is alight.
Everything in this room bathes in blue shade. She watches the alarm clock beside the bed, numbers coming and going out of fashion before her eyes.

irresolute hearts
i.
now you have not broken my heart yet
but you are bending it more than i am
used to; it is creased where you folded

but i can feel stardust catch in my
bronchial tubes; we can meet at the lips
and you can breathe deep the butterflies

the words in my mind are not misplaced yet
but you are starting to disorganize them;
i am forgetting that it is politically incorrect
to tell you that i miss you, you are amazing

the corners of my eyes begin to lose focus;
your freckled skin is exotic on it

month three, week two
I'm unsatisfied with my eyebrow arches, my jaw line, my cheekbones, and having someone care so much one minute and comp

so. this is for =Iscariot-Priest's July Haikuthon [go here for details].
will update this daily.
but i won't spam your inbox with the updates.
i know. well. pretty much nothing about haiku.
so, i'm hoping i get at least decent by the time this is over.
i'll love you forever if you help me.
[and before anyone asks.
no, most of these won't follow the 5-7-5 rule.
please don't suggest me to change it unless you think it'll help the poem itself. i'm not one for format if it's restricting.]
finally finishedddd.
